Intro

The Northern Tale is a single-player story-heavy puzzle-solving game. The players play as a girl named Gale, trying to solve the lost tale sent by her deceased grandmother about the history and culture of the island. This is a game demo made for Global Game Jam 2022.

My Responsibilities

- Created a 13-page game design document (GDD) covering synopsis, plot, characters, aesthetics, and game flow.
- Designed the narrative and detailed character dialogues.
- Developed character concept arts and finalized 11 art assets.
- Pitched the game project and demo to an audience, increasing exposure and visibility.
